How long are people protected against COVID-19? Reuters reports that COVID-19 reinfection is rare but more common in older individuals. The majority of people are protected against reinfection for at least 6 months. A study in the journal Lancet found that just 0.65% of people tested positive a second time for COVID-19 after previous infection. Good news for our population.
