Dr. James Heise was born and raised in LaPorte, Indiana. He received his BS in Biology from Indiana University in 1983 and his DDS from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Heise received his Fellowship (FAGD) in 1999 and his Mastership (MAGD) in 2000 from the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition, he received his Fellowship (FICOI) from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2006.
Dr. Heise completed all six continuums (from 1996 to 2000) from the world renowned L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, FL. Dr. Heise received training in TMJD (Temporomandibular Joint DIsorder) diagnosis and treatment as well as full mouth reconstruction diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Heise trained in implant dentistry at New York University School of Dentistry in New York, NY through the Implant Maxi-Course as well as the Misch International Implant Institute in Detroit, MI under the direction of world renowned and dental implant pioneer, Dr. Carl E. Misch.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Heise enjoys reading, bike riding, and traveling with his wife.
